Today was the day to start 3 shots. It went pretty good. I took more time to prep than anything. Here is a before prep picture. The one on the left is the same medicine we have been on. The Lupron. We lowered the dose today to 5ml from 10 ml, not to bad. The middle on is the Follisam pen. You put the medicine in, turn it to your dose and your ready, 75 ml. The one on the right is the WORST!! You have to mix the medicine. (For the life of me I can't remember what it's called). Take the saline solution out of one bottle and put it into the other and then swap out the needle. The needle is tiny, so it comes out really really slow.
10 minutes after prepping, this is what I get. I also took it in this order, left to right. See how tiny the amount of the first one is and how much of the last one! These meds are supposed to stimulate my ovaries, basically put me into menopause; pretty much prevent me from ovulating the eggs we have created already.

I have been struggling with headaches, but I think that is the lack of caffeine. I have been to not stay away from Alcohol (duh) & Caffeine (damn it) and to take only Tylenol. This will help lower the risk of miscarriage. Reality is starting to sink in! We are a week and half away from harvesting, so two weeks from implanting! YIPPEE!!!
I hear your pain with having headaches and only Tylenol, it is an evil trick, but worth it. I couldn't even look at your pictures of the needles. You are so BRAVE!!!
