Reflection

I have been reflecting a lot lately about the whole process we have gone thru and are continuing to go thru. I must say.....it has been well worth it. The belly is growing like crazy - hopefully it doesn't move into my hips and butt (keep your fingers crossed) and our little Egg Roll is constantly moving, especially at night. I lay down and that's it. No sleep for me, he is dancing. I have been home working for a week now. It is defiantly different than I thought it would be. The day goes by so fast and I never accomplish everything on my list. How did I do it with a full time job? The closer I am reaching the 3rd trimester, I have noticed I am slowing down. Getting a little more tired and noticing some contractions. It's all so exciting and nerve racking at the same time. November 4th seems so far away, but we are almost have way thru July. It's going fast. I can't wait to have the little Roll here to actually be here. Thanks for all the support and love!

War Pony

Let me start by saying - I would never change being able to have my own babies! Pregnancy has been rough, but has been a little smoother the last few weeks. Until last night.................

Have you ever woken up going "oohhh, that charlie horse hurt"? I have, usually rub it out, roll over, drama is over. Not this morning! I was woken out of a dead sleep, tears streaming down my face........this was no charlie horse!! This was a WAR PONY in my leg!! I punched Chris in the arm to wake him up, my thumbs weren't doing a good enough job. Between the both of us and about 10 minutes, it finally calmed down. But my good hell!!

That's all I have to say about that! Damn War Ponies!

Flat

My belly button is flat. Just sayin'.

Wiggle Worm & Names

This boy is a wiggle worm!! It is so fun to feel and so bizarre at the same time!! I love it!! He loves to move around when I am sitting or laying down. And I will tell you what, no sleep for me for at least 30 minutes! I lay down for bed and he is wanting to move. I guess he is a night owl light Mom. He doesn't move at all in the morning, usually around 10am is the first movement. Once again, like Mom. Papa, he is the morning person and in bed by 9pm! I wonder how he will be when he gets here. Probably the opposite and just like Papa. The Mom will be hating it and so excited to have him here!

We have a few names picked out - but we are sending out an SOS! We were so ready for a girl that we had a bunch of names written down. Any suggestions??

20 Weeks

The countdown is on!! (Ok, not really, it's just beginning!) I cannot believe we are already halfway there!! Are little Egg Drop is turning into quite the Egg Roll!! He is moving around and kicking like crazy. I have always wondered what the movements would feel like, now I know. It was weird at first, but now I anticipate it!

We had our 20 week checkup today, everything is right on schedule. He is growing and moving and his "boy part" is still there. Nope, it didn't fall off. We are so excited to have a boy!! We already have plans for the nursery and will start construction sometime next month. I have attached of my belly bump from today.

Sammy (the princess) had to be in the pic also!!! So far, only a 13lb gain! That is from the very beginning at the U of U - not to shabby! 9 lb since seeing my OB. I am pretty proud of myself. It was very weird seeing that number as my weight. I am kinda excited to see where I end up!

July 2nd!

I have made it official! July 2nd is my last day at R&O Construction..........(sigh)........YIPPEEE!!! I am so very excited! I have found a job to do from home (Thanks Nik! I owe you!). I am excited to start adjusting to home life now before the baby comes and I have so many projects I want to get started and started projects that are unfinished. I also can't wait to see the sunshine! I sit in the corner at work with no window, no sunlight, it sucks! Call me if you are headed to the pool are doing play dates! I want to come play!

Is it Hot in here??

While we were in Omaha I noticed a strange thing happening, I was having hot flashes. I panicked for a minute, I'm not old enough to go thru menopause! Oh yeah, I am prego! And HOT!!! Ever since Omaha, I am dying!! This weekend with all the wind and rain felt so good! It was nice and cool! Aaaahhhh!! (While Chris is bundle up saying it's cold! What does he know!) I am seriously hot 24/7 and I am loving it! I am always freezing cold! I sleep in the fan on and the window open while Chris looks like a burrito wrapped up in his blanket. So nice!! Bring on summer! Let's get HOT!
