So, here I am......I did a couple blogs and stayed on top, but I fell behind again. Oh well........Lots of talk in our home has been happening about babies and when and if to have another one. We have decided!!! We have 6 embryos, so we are going to give them a shot. The embryos are frozen, so when they are implanted, they will do them 2 at a time until I turn 32, then they will implant 3 at a time.
We have made the decision the have another, but now we have to decide when. Do we do the 2 at a time and have 3 chances?? Or do we wait until Weston is older and do 3 at a time and only have 2 chances???
That is the new decision that we are faced with. So my question is, how far apart are your kids and do you like or would you change it??
(Don't forget, we could be "blessed" with multiples next time!! Weston was only 1 embryo and took on the first try!!)
No matter how far apart your kids are, it just works. It is amazing, but it really just always works. That being said, I have loved every age gap. I loved Summer being 3 1/2 years older than Jarrett, but she was a girl and VERY helpful! Even though I bawled I do actually like how close my boys are (18 months) because they are BEST friends. Oakley is 2 1/2 years diff from Pryce and that has been great too. You really can't loose. Pray about it and you'll know when! (Sorry for the novel)
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Brittney although for my own sanity, I enjoy the bigger age gap between Stetson & Wyatt than I do the gap between Wyatt & Sierra. I was scared of how Wyatt was going to handle Sierra but he has turned out to be a wonderful helper, just like Stetson. I would say if multiples are a possibility, I'd at least wait until Weston is potty trained for financial reasons lol. I HATE buying diapers for 2 kids. We buy cases from Costco (cuz we like the Kirkland diapers) and even though it's cheaper to do it that way, it still costs us $80 when we go to get diapers for Wyatt & Sierra. Thank goodness they last us a month!
ReplyDeleteCooper and Bridger are 6 years apart. I don't really know why we waited that long, but now that Bridger is here and has his problems i think a higher power had a little to do with that decision. I agree with the others though, what ever distance you choose will work out. But don't forget to just enjoy Weston and savor him being little because they just grow up too fast!
